I've had the best experience ever. Clif is super knowledgeable about trauma, real life experiences, and care. It’s so incredible the ability he has. He’s made me over come the most challenging experience in my life. If it wasn't for him and the way he provided care to me I would be dead! He is a life saver and incredible listener. He is the best therapist I've ever met, and I've met many.
Kennete S.

Clif! No words can explain how thankful I am. He helped me understand my power, regain confidence and understand that connection between mind, heart, and gut, and how to read them. His guidance and knowledge, helped me bring more value into this world by first, understanding myself and how to dissect what I was entangled in. I would recommend Clif and his team to anybody searching for answers.
Orlando A.

Clif and his team have been so helpful for me in facing and working through my trauma. They were professional without being cold, and helped accommodate me continuing my program when my circumstances changed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to use cannabis to participate in the Canna-Therapy program?

No! Contrary to what the name suggests, cannabis use is entirely optional. Canna-Therapy is open to all, whether you use cannabis medically, recreationally, or not at all. The program offers a safe space to discuss existing cannabis use and/or to introduce cannabis medicine into your mental health treatment plan.

Would I need an active Med Card to talk about cannabis use in my sessions?

Not necessarily. While we always encourage safe, legal use of Medical Cannabis (and can help to get you a Medical Card at a discounted rate), our Canna-Therapists are trained to help and educate, not to judge. Whether cannabis is a part of your current medical treatment plan, something you use in your free time, or something you’ve thought about exploring as part of your healing journey, let’s chat about it!

Could incorporating Medical Cannabis into my treatment plan improve my mental health?

While cannabis is not for everyone, many of our patients find that it helps to “soften the edges” when used in conjunction with traditional mental health treatment, in some cases reducing anxiety-related symptoms and improving cognitive performance.

What therapies do Canna-Therapists use to create trauma-focused treatment plans?

Our Canna-Therapists are trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities, in which trauma is the ultimate focus. These include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), cognitive therapy (CT), prolonged exposure therapy (PE), brief eclectic psychotherapy (BEP), and narrative exposure therapy (NET). They’re also well versed in ACT, EFT, IFS, mindfulness, and expressive therapies, just to name a few.
